All
American
Heroes:
ASCAP,
After watching the docudrama, "United Flight Ninety
Three," The Spirit moved me to write this song for
our country. This is a tribute to all the brave
souls who choose to sacrifice everything if
necessary so we may live free.
It's Booty's
way of saying, "Thank you," to the passengers
who died on United's flight 93 in the hills of Pennsylvania
on 9/11/2001. "
All
American
Heroes,"
also pays tribute to the firefighters, police,
civilians and especially our military men and women
who have served -or- are now serving our country.
Because of you -- we live free.
God Bless You;
and God Bless America,
Rocky Walker

Momma Know:
New
Release !
ASCAP,
I wrote this song as a tribute to the memory and body of work of
Mr. Robert Johnson truly one of the great "Black blues" icons of
Mississippi delta blues. The myth says he disappeared for
a year into the swamps of Louisiana, traded his soul to the
devil for his music and returned to standing room
only as he played and sang in juke houses from
Mississippi to Chicago.
Haunting blues harp accompanies Rocky and the BootyBoyz as
they take you:
"Down
the Mississippi delta passed Yazoo City and the Tallahatchie
bridge..."
Did you ever stop and
wonder:
ASCAP, Speaks to
times past. a beautiful mix of
music and lyrics by any standard.
The first half of this six minute
song is strictly acoustic brought to
life by the extraordinary stylings
of
"Guitar Matt Twitty,"
while Rocky
accompanies on rhythm guitar.
The second half of the song sets
Booty's lyrical prose to the music
asking the question: "Did You Ever
Stop And Wonder?" and then telling
why.
Budweiser State of
Mind:
ASCAP, A salute to
the number 8 car
driven by Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
With
out fail every time Rocky plays this song -- someone
in the crowd says what about
the
Number 3 car.
so, he was forced to write:
"Number
3,"
After many futile attempts
to get it down on paper he's says he put it on the
shelf and forgot about it; that is until he saw
an article in the
Brunswick Times
by
Ronda Rich
-- a published NASCAR writer. So says Booty, "If
it weren't for
Rhonda Rich
-- ole Booty would still be ah scratch'n his head over
this one."
Number 3 Car:
ASCAP,
Tells the
true story of Dale Earnhardt
Sr.'s last race.
No doubt his passing
marked one of the darkest days in
the history
of
NASCAR. The song is written for
those fans interested in the rest of
the story not told by the, "Media."
Listen
closely. What you hear is fact.
Rocky introduces this song as:
"The first country
and western, red neck, gospel,
NASCAR song ever written and
probably the last one also.
Dr. Luv's 911:
ASCAP, Medium paced satirical
rock that's fun listening. This song
is guaranteed to float in case of
flood, make you laugh -- smile --and
sing or your money back --
tomorrow.
Chasing
Dreams:
ASCAP,
Easy listening Acoustic
Stylings of Rocky and Twitty
with percussion by Bellian
Marshall. Lie back and let the
smooth sound of strings and congas
take you away.
Wasted Grief of a Gambling Man:
ASCAP, Rocky
collaborates with Ralph Waldo
Emerson posthumously to
tell you why:
"...the stakes
are high...."
Deadman
Knock'n:
ASCAP,
Rocky's
haunting blues harp eulogy
to those who died
at Va.Tech. An anti-protest
protest song
AGAINST
gun control
by government.
One student or teacher - armed with a weapon and a
concealed carry permit could have stopped the
carnage. The song encourages this
millennium's generation to get out and vote to
protect our
constitutional right to bear arms.
"The politicians up in DC -- who write the laws of
this land --made us all lay down our guns and we
died by the Glock in his hand. It's not
too late to change things -- get out -- vote -- and
take a stand. Or crawl back in your hole and die by
the Glock in His Hand......"

French Fried Twinkie:
ASCAP,
Born from a clip off the Travel
Channel characterizing one of Las Vegas'
favorite junk foods:
the French
fried Twinkie.
"....Now get this, I
said when I'm dead -- crown my
head with
"Pink Snow Balls," -- whip cream
with cherries on top.
Then find a French fried Twinkie
stuff it in my mouth -- Send my soul
to God to save my butt from
well.........
Snapper and the Dawg:
ASCAP, Rocky's wing man
Guitar Matt Twitty provides sound affects
during a musical look at the life of a big bike
rider, "Bill Dawg," and his main squeeze,
"The Red Snapper".
If this one don't make you laugh and
sing along.....YOU....ARE....PROBABLY.....
DEAD.
Hammer Down:
ASCAP,
Another Harp filled
tune painting a
lyrical portrait of
life in the fast
lane----- going here
and there -- doing
this and that. "Jumped
aboard that silver
bullet,
strapped it on and
hammered down."
All jet pilots can
relate to this one.
Runaway Bride:
ASCAP,
This song won the 2005 song writers competition in
Atlanta.
It will preach down in
Georgia or just about anywhere. If it had not been for
the infamous Jenny Wilbanks
--
we would have forever lost this lyrical sing-along
masterpiece.
"THIS SONG IS A MUST HAVE,"
to lighten up the party. Booty
accuses anyone who does not sing along with
the chorus of:
"Runaway Bride"
of being a:
"Card carrying member of the ACLU!"
Broken Hearted
Lovers:
ASCAP, Medium
paced rock speaking
to lovers in bar-rooms,
bedrooms, cities,
towns and schools.
"Somewhere in that
hallway -- somewhere
in that school --
somewhere in that
class room --
somebody's made to
feel the fool."
Nobody
Knows:
ASCAP,
Rocky
Salutes the singers,
players, and
performers that work
the night sleep all
day and do it again
to try and make it -
in the cruel hard
world of
entertainment.
"Never know'en night
from day or day from
dawn -- it's all
turned around when
the curtains are
closed and the
drapes are drawn."
From Booty's new
one: "Nobody
Knows"
Santa
Domingo:
ASCAP,
Easy listen island
music as booty takes
you to the
beaches of the
Dominican Republic.
"Children 'ah
swim'en - watch'en
half naked women
line'en the beach
down in Santa
Domingo."
Listen close now --
you'll hear the
Buffet influence in
this one.
Time
Marches On:
ASCAP,
Somewhere between
now and then --
whether we want to
or not -- it seems
we all get a grip on
the notion:
"There
ain't nothing I can
do to hold it back;
time marches on.
It keeps slipping
through my fingers
day after day, times
marches on."
With this tune Booty
rips another page
from life and shares
how he feels about
something over which
we have no control.

An "Opposites" song detailing the -- Ups and

Lover's Moon: ASCAP,
Written for those
fortunate souls who
have been in love,
and those who dream
the dream.
"There's a lover's
moon out tonight
-- reminding me I'm
loves fool -- for
ever daring to love
you -- or hoping
you'd love me too."
Beautiful lyrical
prose written on
Grand Cayman
looking out to sea
under the light of a
full moon.
I'll love you till
the very last breath
I take:
ASCAP,
Rocky tried to spin
off "Take It
To The Limit," by
the Eagles and wound
up "Side
tracked."
That would be the
key words describing
where this song
started and where it
ended. After
going nowhere for
several days, Rocky was watching
The Wizard Of Oz one
evening. The
final version
of this song sounds as if the
Munchkins in the
"Land Of Oz" strongly
influenced the end
product.
You will --
laugh.

Half Past High Tide:
ASCAP,
This song was born
on the 4th of July
on the beaches of
south Georgia.
After passing a
wedding in progress
on the grounds of a
bed and breakfast
called "HIGH TIDE"
over looking the
Atlantic Ocean
-- Rocky says this
thought came to him.
"I was strolling
down the beach side
-- 'bout "Half Past
High Tide" --
Thought I saw a June
Bride getting married
on the 4th of July."
The tale goes on to
involve kids, dogs,
Margaritas and "Keenie
Clad Cuties."
Rocky takes a beating
on this one.
